TRAIL Check! Hop along on OZON, BARN BURNER, RIM TRAIL & one bonus trail!
Join me as I ride some of my favorite trails in Bentonville, Arkansas! Whether you’re a local or just visiting, these trails offer an amazing experience for all levels of riders. While doing this ride I also rode Leopards Loop, so I added that trail as well!
🐢 Ozone on NW A street is a GREEN trail and runs right next to the side walk. When I rode this trail for the first time I couldn't believe they had actually build a trail right next to the road and side walk. Only in Bentonville!
🔥 Barn Burner: A true gem, Barn Burner is perfect for those who love advanced jumps. This is a BLACK trail with smooth berms and steeper jumps. Personally this is one of my favorite local jump trails.
🐆 Leopards Loop, FUN guaranteed! This trail never gets boring to me.. fast, flowy, jumps and a ton of berms. Great for the novice MTB rider!
🪨 Rim Trail: This trail has a bit of everything, rocks, some jumps a small drop in the middle and will definitely shake you around. This trail is marked as BLUE, but is more of a blue + in my opinion.
Thank you all for watching! It is amazing to see how many trails have been opened in the past couple of weeks. As you can tell the storm has left quite a bit of damage, but the trail crew and volunteers have done a phenomenal job!
Reminder: Pre-ride, Re-ride and Free-ride. Thank you all for watching

Tristian Trail destruction after storm ripped through Bentonville, AR.
Переглядів 4,3 тис.Місяць тому
As most of you know we had a severe storm May 26th in Bentonville, Arkansas. An EF1 tornado touched down and it is so sad to see the destruction it has left behind. A month later we are still cleaning up and slowly some of the trails are open again. It has been heartwarming to see the amount of people that have been volunteering to help get these trails back up and running. One of the trails th...

Overcome FEAR of MTB Crashing! Helping Jess the Maker tackle her mental demons after a fall.
Переглядів 7 тис.Місяць тому
We've all been there, the fear of crashing, getting hurt or just scared of getting out of our comfort zone to do jumps. I've helped out my friend and badass rider Jess the Maker with something she was struggling with, doing bigger jumps. It is alway's easier said then done, fear easily creeps in on us, little devils in our head telling us what to do, not to do, and we ALL struggle with this at ...
Bentonville tornado disaster, NWA community comes together to help cleanup MTB trails!

What a week it has been… 1am on May the 26th Bentonville, Arkansas got hit by a severe storm and even a EF1 tornado hitting the ground. Lots of damage to homes and the trails. Some areas are unrecognizable, trees broken down and lots of debris everywhere. The tornado sirens went off in the middle of the night and we had to take shelter asap. We spent about an hour sitting in the closet, followi...

Jess & Anneke rip down Air Raid - Black jump trail!
Переглядів 1,2 тис.2 місяці тому
What better way than to ride one of your favorite jump trails with your friend?! I had a blast doing laps with Jess the Maker on Air Raid, a jump trail at Huntley gravity in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Air Raid is a black expert jump trail and is fairly intimidating when you roll in for the first time. This trail is an absolute blast once you get to clear all the jumps, it's build really well! Alway...

Let’s talk about TRAIL MANNERS and give you a few reminders!
Cool tune pick to me because my initials are ELO 👍
How much did it cost in total?
What’s your strategy for staying safe on the trails?
Such a thrilling ride!!! What’s your top tip for overcoming fear on challenging trails?
That’s the first time I’ve seen all the storm damage😢, some of the trails look so different without all the trees! Thanks for taking us along on your ride
Fun fact about Rim Trail: halfway through the right hand rock berm at the end, they put one prominent paver in the shape of Arkansas. You can see it at about 10:21
I wanna ride with you and see if I can hang with a pro.
Makes sense to me, thanks.
Great video! Enjoyed it alot. Looks like a place to definately ride some day soon! Thanks!!
I love that you left the camera shenanigans in your video and just rolled with it. You completely embody the vibe we have here. Thanks for representing NWA so well and sharing the love for our trails.
Such a great video! Some friends and I have a trip planned for the end of September. What a great way to see the trails before we get there. Thanks for all you do for the mountain bike community!!
How would you like this bike for just pedaling days? I’m trying to figure out if it pedals better than the regular stumpy. If so. How much better? Epic 8 evo better? Need to know just how good the genie is. I have access to a 2023 stumpy pro for cheap and it’s hard to decide without having both available to ride
I struggle with wanting to get back but try not to because I lose control!
It’s fun to see some of the trails we haven’t tried yet!
Whoa! So crazy to see how many trees are down. :o I visited Bentonville this last March and it looks so different. Rim Trail had to be my favorite trail, which says a lot because we rode Fireline and Cease and Desist the most. So much fun - great trail check!
What’s name of the first song , can’t stop listening to it lol
6:30 Leopard's Loop isn't a Soil-Tac surface. It's paved. Soil-Tac was a failed experiment as seen on the abandoned Blackbird DH trail. That poor trail was a mess mere months after completion. The blacktop on Leopard's loop and Choo Choo has been pretty much maintenance free.
Thanks!
When I climb a hill, I usually get out of the saddle and pump the legs pretty hard and quick. Is that not an 'olympic' technique?
I love the woohoo’s as you ride! I do the same. If we can’t make fun sounds and have fun while we ride…….why ride? Love it!
Thanks!
Not an active cyclist but why the heck did those riders in front of you not let you pass??? People like that are so frustrating
Some of the trails look like you need sun screen on now! Looks so different! Not been back since bikefest 😢.
Did you just cross Tiger and “A” diagonally? Dang you DO live dangerously. 😂 I usually ride early in the mornings, and I frequently see you out coaching folks, especially other women. We’re so lucky to have you in here Bentonville.
Yes, I did... Very European way of crossing, lol! Thank you!
Thanks for the review on Rim Trail. When I rode it the first time, I didn't pre-ride since I thought I had a good feel for Bentonville blue. As a "dark blue" trail rider, it was at the edge of my abilities!
You’ve identified two things here no one else has said on UA-cam; 1. Heels down 2. Pressure through level pedals . I appreciate those tips. Thank you
You are welcome!
I went for Bike Fest for the first time ever and every time I watch Anneke's vids I realized how many trails I missed lol. Def getting back there soon! Soooo many trails. I spent too much time on the Coler and Castle hub trails. Great stuff but between the fest and that, and then the storm, I just ran out of time lol. I'LL BE BACK!
Great to hear you'll be back!!
Great video Anneke. Could you do a video listing all of the beginner/intermediate trails? I'll be making my second trip to Bville soon but the last time I was there was not long after the tornadoes so I didn't get to ride much. Thanks!
I'll try to do a video on that soon! Thanks for the idea!

So glad to see trails re-opening! I just booked late Sept to be at the start of the Coler Roller and the following week! Might need a little jumping refresher since our trails are mostly XC oriented.
Awesome!
I was there for the tornado and Bentonville Bike Fest and only rode The Back 40 the day after the tornado. It just looks crazy. We will be back in September for Jessy's Wedding and I can't wait to see everything.
Looking forward to see you in September Matt!
Holy cow, Red Barn/Barn Burner really did get hammered by the tornado. Goodness. I ususally stay at an Airbnb across NW A St. from Leopard's. Strangely, never taken Heading Home before -- always head down Apple Dumplin. Need to mix it up and head towards the hubs via Heading Home next time.
Yes, unfortunately it did. The trail crew did an amazing job fixing it! Heading home is a great trail to mix it up!
We are so fortunate to live here. All the amazing trails for different levels. All the trail crews and volunteers have done an Amazing job getting things back open again. Anneke, Thank you for all the videos and tips. We really appreciate you here. 🇺🇸
Thank you!
Amateur!! 🤣🤣 B is the best town in the world.. 😎 Thanks, nice video, funny story, I found Leopard by accident just out the Airbnb, loved it. 👍
That is great, Leopards in one of my favorites!
this, like what much of XCO course are becoming, was a terrible course. i've decided that "XCO" is now just a weird combo of gravel/cyclocross
Looks like lots of passing opportunities. I like it.
There is too much flow and wide trails this last decade, it’s ruining the sport, more of a gravel bike course
It was a gravel bike course, many racers criticized it
How long is the course?
4.4kms IIRC
Who all was allowed to ride it? Was it open to the general public? Looks awesome
Not sure I agree with Pidcock calling it "bland". Too "man-made" maybe. Just point them down (and up) fresh bits of hill and let it develop. MTB is not a sport that should be "sanitised" or controlled.
I saw you at that park
idiot course
Should have raced at Les Gets
We come down several times a year from kcmo. One of my favorite places
Looks flat and not very technical.
Clearly you’ve never heard of the go pro effect. That rocky area near the middle was intense. Around a 48% avg decent angle.😅 also what about that 25ft gap in the middle
@@thecoasterguy7367 maybe but overall the track seems easy, at least in comparison to Tokyo
When you go so hard you have snot coming out of your eyeballs, everything gets technical.
@@ericpeysar2593 Yes, plenty of room in the pain cave on that track which I guess is the point.
Where can I order one????
Interesting they covered a lot of the course in that sandy gravel. Seems like a strange design choice.
Looks prettier for the TV audience
So grateful for you, and these short and sweet tips vids. They are extremely helpful for us overthinkers. If anyone is on the fence about taking some coaching with Anneke, DO IT! I've been to a few clinics, and Anneke blows them out of the water, hands down. I will only watch her tutorials. Thanks for everything you do, and for inspiring us to enjoy the process.
Thank you!! Really appreciate the kind words 💓
Great video! Amazing bike, new rear shock technollogy wooow and you are so skilled and knowlegeable. YEAH! Thanks for the video!
Thank you!
I’m traveling there in September. Rather than flying our bikes we decided to rent. Where can we rent my bikes?
Smart decision, it’s easy to rent bikes here! Check out Gearhead and the Specialized Experience center in Bentonville!
Is that sand/ dirt ? Vid makes it appear to be slow rolling. Thanks for the video and how many changes have they made to this ?🤙🏻
Nice video. I’m thinking about buying the same model in the same colour. Your video is one of the only videos I’ve found that shows off this colour. It looks pretty nice. I think the dark green and yellow of the pro model looks better but I don’t want to spend that much. How do you feel about the grey colour?
